My belly jewelry broke
There are usually three ways a belly piercing can break. Here is how and what to do about it.
-
It arrived at you already broken
During transport the products can suffer a lot of pressure and bangs, thus they may arrive broken. But that rarely happens.
If it does, do not open its sealed individual bag and send a clear photo where we can see the problem and the unopened bag at help@bodymod.support - We will be happy to assist you.

The dangle of your belly button ring breaks
The tiny ring holding the dangle is a safety ring, and it is meant to break if your jewel gets tangled in clothing, bedsheets, a belt buckle, jeans, etc.
Instead of having your belly piercing hole torn, this ring bends letting the dangle fall off for your safety. This is, unfortunately, not covered by us: a dangle falling means that you were saved from a severe injury.
We recommend you to be careful when wearing jewelry with dangles in the future: bear in mind that delicate products require a delicate manipulation.

The bottom bead falls off and can't be screwed
If you bought a belly button ring that comes with a bottom bead instead of a regular screw-in ball, note these types of beads are glued. Please read more about glued items below:
Glued items are extra-delicate because they are more "sensitive", therefore prone to break or get loose when manipulated in non-proper ways. In the case of belly button rings, they can not take high pressure, moisture, and heat. The glue will be definitely affected if it gets in contact with chemicals.
If your jewel broke while you were sitting or sleeping, it surely got stuck in your belt or pants. Belly pleats and pant's accessories can add a lot of pressure onto the piece, which a glued product will always yield.
Make sure to handle your belly button jewelry with delicacy because, after all, they are actual jewels requiring proper care. That is why we strongly recommend to take it out while showering, just as you would with a necklace, bracelet, etc.
